The fourth edition of the Bangladesh Premier League is going to take place in this coming November; BCB Media Committee chairman Jalal Yunus informed about the matter.

BPL T20 concert attracts big crowd in Cox's Bazar

The Bangladesh Premier League T20 Concert attracted a big crowd held Friday at Cox's Bazar sea beach amidst festive mood, reports BSS.

The concert featured famous Bollywood artist Sreya Ghoshal, Bangladeshi rock sensation James, Indian Idol champion Amit Paul, Close Up stars Rinku, Nishitha and Shera Kontho stars Imran and Nirbachita.

The BPL Governing Council Saturday made a donation of Tk 2.5 million to the Cox's Bazar Beach Management Committee for arrangement of lighting at the sea beach. BCB Directors Dewan Shafiul Arefin, Shafiqur Rahman Munna, Abdullah Al Fuad Redwan, Imtiaz Ahmed Shamsul Huda Kislu, Mainuddin Chowdhury Kamru, Md. Shahidul Islam and Game On Sport Management Director Anjan Ganguly were present during handing over of the cheque to Cox's Bazar Deputy Commissioner M Joynul Bari.

A human chain with the slogan - Save Beach and Safe Beach - was formed at the sea beach before start of the beach cleaning programme. The human chain was marked by the participation of BCB Directors and former national captain Habibul Bashar.
