Two signing ceremonies concerning the Bangladesh Premier League Twenty20 competition was held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium yesterday. First, Gazi Ashraf Hossain, the BPL governing council chairman, and Game On Sports director Anjan Ganguly signed the papers on behalf of the two parties. The deal is for six years worth 44.33 million dollars. Then, Virgo Media Channel 9, the official broadcast rights of the BPL, signed the agreement through its managing director Enayetur Rahman. The six-team tournament will begin on February 10 and will run till February 29 during which 25 matches will be played. The franchises' auction will be held on January 5 in Dhaka, while 75 foreign players will be up in the players' auction.
