Dynamites – in hunt for the third title

Post  Admin on Sat Oct 24, 2015 8:41 pm

Dhaka Dynamites – the lone title holder of the Bangladesh Premier League in the previous two seasons has produced quite a balanced team to chase down their hat trick championship title in the largest domestic T20 championship of the country. Played as Dhaka Gladiators in the first two occasions, the name has been changed in this season after the embarrassing spot fixing scandal during the last season of the tournament.

Dhaka managed to balance their team strength this time also capturing the young sensation Mustafizur Rahman along with noteworthy foreign bowlers like Mohammad Irfan and Sohail Khan.

Super domestic performer Mosaddek Hossain Rubel and Pakistan leg spinner Yasir Shah added versatility in the bowling attack of the Dynamites.

Sir Lanka’s legendary wicket keeper batsman Kumar Sangakkara made his contract with the Dynamites and the franchise strengthened their lineup reaching Dutch star batsman Ryan Ten Doeschate and Pakistan’s Nasir Jamshed.

Dynamites manager Khaled Mahmud Shujon said, “We targeted bowlers during the draft because we made our contract with star foreign batsmen prior to the lottery. I think we have able to set up the strongest bowling line up in the tournament and hoping to keep up the title once again.”
