Fleming appointed Technical Director of Sylhet Superstars

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has already confirmed the participation of some high profile superstars in the must awaited tournament Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), which is scheduled to begin from 22 November. The franchises their selves signed some foreign players as well according to their choices. Besides, they also appointed foreign coaches as their respective teams.

Among the six franchises of BPL, four franchises appointed foreign coaches while other two franchises have kept faith on local coaches. Chittagong Vikings, Rangpur Riders, Barisal Bulls and Dhaka Dynamites appointed Robin Singh, Shane Jurgensen, Graham Ford and Mickey Arthur as their head coach respectively.

Meanwhile, Comilla Victorians and Sylhet Superstars named Mohammad Salahuddin and Sarwar Imran as their head coach. Sylhet Superstars appointed New Zealand’s former captain Stephen Fleming as their Technical Director to help the head coach Sarwar Imran.

Stephen Fleming played 111 Tests and 280 One Day Internationals for New Zealand. After retirement, he took coaching as his profession. He has a experience of coaching the Indian Premier League (IPL) team Chennai Super Kings. It is sure that his experience will help much Mushfiqur Rahim’s team Sylhet Superstars.
